Successful Young Breeders Competitionday @ ALH

During the first Young Breeders Competitieday in Damwoude on  June 13 Chiel Goesten was winning both, the Championship clipping and showmanship by the juniors.

The fourteen year old Goesten out of Hedel was both times in front of the reserve, the 17yr old Wieke Marije Bakker (17) out of Ginnum.

Prices at seniors
By the seniors , with more entries, the prices are spread around. Best clipping winner was Ben Knoef out of Geesteren and silver was going to Sharina Schepers out of Wijster. The showmanship winner was Chavelley Prince out of Bergambacht and reserve Manouk Brouwer out of Kessel.

The competitonday was organised at ALH Genetics, the day after ALH@homesale. Instructions and judging was done by the Dutch cowfitter Erica Rijneveld and Pat Lundy & Brian Behnke of the USA. This day was a extra day in The Netherlands beside the other clipping and showmanships every year at the Holland Holsteins Show.
