Great addition in the Wiericker herd!

Behappy

Mark Olieman in Bodegraven (Nld) is very excited when he starts talking about his favourite milking heifer Wiericker Behappy. In 2014 Mark bought 2 embryos from ALH Genetics from the mating Bacon-Hill Montross x C.M.E. Planet Behappy VG-87, a granddaughter of the great brood cow Regancrest Durham Barbie EX-92. The result was one heifer, called Behappy, that calved in September last year.

“She is very easy to work, always in the first group in the milking parlour, a really trouble free heifer in the herd” according to Mark. Behappy is very high producing, at the top 45 kg per day and now, after 5 months in milk, still over 40 kg and 17% over herdaverage. And she is also a very fancy heifer: she is scored VG-87 with VG-87 for her beautiful attached mammary system. Mark continues: “At the Koeiemart Show in Woerden Behappy, not even 6 weeks fresh, had her first show ring success and was honoured Reserve Junior Champion. In the mean time she is pregnant again, so she will calve within the year. Hopefully she can go to the show in Woerden again this year.” Olieman family, congratulations with this great addition!
