Tulip Sale 2019 with unique Holstein animals walking over the Red Carpet

Sale manager Adolf Langhout looks back with satisfaction at the auction in the IJsselhallen in Zwolle: “The new design of Tulip Sale in the atmospheric Holland Holstein House was successful. Animals walking slowly on red carpet in the aisle of the “House” was a beautiful scene.

The Top Seller of the Tulip Sale was no. 5 Ptit Coeur Add Passoa Red VG-87; auctioneer Michael Taaffe hammered the bid on the amount of no less than € 14.000.

While enjoying delicious hot sandwiches and drinks, the Tulip Sale offered a varied range of unique Holstein calves, heifers, bred heifers, first choices and embryo packages!
Present animals walked proudly at even touchable distance from audience. Red, white, blue, orange tablecloths, red Christmas stars and the color of black and white and red and white fur of the animals with atmospheric lighting.

The total amount for the Young Breeders lot number 0 was 5,730 Euro; thanks again to all companies and people who contributed to this.

47 of the auctioned animals together the total value of 180.360 euros: an average price per animal of Euro 3.837.
A total of 93 embryos went under the hammer for Euro 100.332; an excellent average price per embryo of Euro 1.079 !!

“Of the 69 auctioned numbers, embryos and animals, 30 numbers go abroad; that means the interest in the Netherlands is now higher, “says Adolf Langhout.
